What You’ll Do:

NADBank is seeking a financial analyst position responsible for the administration of derivatives and debt issuance, as well as providing critical financial data to relevant third parties such as credit rating agencies, internal clients, and internal/external auditors, as needed.

What You Bring to the table:

  • Assist in the preparation, review, execution, confirmation, and documentation of derivative transactions (initiation or unwinding) used to hedge currency and/or interest rate exposures.
  • Prepare and analyze periodic mark-to-market valuation reports for derivatives portfolios and execute margin calls pursuant to the terms established in each corresponding ISDA.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of confirmations and statements for swap payments and receipts to meet NADB’s payment obligations to external counterparties facilitating correct fund inflows.
  • Prepare monthly payment schedule of derivative obligations for purposes of timely cash management.
  • Prepare month-end reports that calculate the fair value of the bank’s derivatives portfolio and hedged items for inclusion in the bank’s financial statements.
  • Prepare information requested by internal/external auditors.
  • Assist in the loan pricing analysis for new loans, as required.
  • Assist in the asset and liability management, as required.
  • Provide back-up support for loan and grants management, as required.
  • Prepare reports for Bank’s committee meetings, as required.
  • Assists in the review of the financial statements notes and annual report, as required.
  • Conduct industry and financial research to support decision-making and strategic initiatives, as required.
  • Performs special projects including presentations, financial modeling and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • MBA or relevant professional certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional or internship experience in financial analysis/derivative, or related areas is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of financial variables including, but not limited to, interest rates, bond yields, exchange rates, and derivatives.
  • Thorough knowledge of finance and accounting concepts.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work under time restraints.
  • Highly analytical and detailed oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Independently plans and coordinates routine tasks and assignments and performs most tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent judgment and propriety with regard to Bank’s financial resources.
  • Initiative and goal/project oriented.
  • Good oral and written communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts.
  • Professional proficiency of written and spoken English and Spanish required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling in Excel.
  • Working knowledge and experience using Bloomberg.
  • Effective interpersonal skills; team player.
