Head of Affluent Propositions and Customer Acquisition
Principal responsibilities
- Reporting to Head of Customer Propositions & Management, the Head of Affluent Propositions & Customer Acquisition will be instrumental in the design of differentiated value propositions for strategic customer segments to deliver quality client experience.
- Responsible for the development of multi-channel customer acquisition and growth strategies to cost-effectively acquire new-to-bank, upgrade quality customers and reactivate inactive customers to accelerate the affluent customer base growth and client continuum to high net worth segment
- Design differentiated value propositions for strategic customer segments including mass affluent, high net worth and Mainland Chinese segments with unique anchors on wealth and banking solutions, synergizing advanced digital capabilities and servicing channels to deliver quality client experience and establish the Bank's competitive advantages
- Lead the collaboration with channels, Products' teams and Hang Seng China team to drive our propositions and cross business referrals to capture growing connectivity needs and business growth in Hong Kong and the Mainland/Great Bay area
- Develop strategic partnership strategies and collaborate with external and internal partners to expand customer acquisition channels and launch new customer privileges/services/events to enhance the overall value propositions for the customers
- Deliver the target business outcome, subject to the resources plan and regulatory requirements.
- University degree in Banking, Finance or related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of working experience in the banking/financial or related industries with focus on Propositions management, customer acquisitions and customer portfolio management
- Proven work experience to lead omni channel customer contact and/or customer experience; experience in building the necessary platform an asset
- A forward-looking leader with innovative thinking and demonstrated ability to lead change
- Ability to lead and build an initiative from scratch and to handle high level of ambiguity
- Knowledge of GBA and Mainland regulatory and financial industry development policy
- Excellent influencing skill in dealing with executive and senior level management and strong leadership across functional teams to drive improvement
- Strong knowledge of retail banking customer interaction channels
- Sound decision making and capable to work under pressure
- Open to change with ability to influence, engage and lead positively and in an inspiring manner
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese
- Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
