Senior Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager - Leading Global Bank

Our client, a leading global bank, is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager to join their world-class Finance function in Krakow, Poland.

Position Overview

The Senior Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely delivery of French GAAP regulatory reporting requirements, driving process improvements, and maintaining a strong control environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely French GAAP regulatory reporting
• Initiate process standardisation, simplification, automation, and efficiency initiatives
• Support Finance Change team in due diligence of new products and transactions
• Maintain a strong control environment and ensure compliance with regulations
• Provide insight and guidance to business areas on French GAAP reporting
• Develop reporting processes based on changes implemented by Group Finance
• Investigate and communicate significant variances on a timely basis

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of relevant financial control experience
• Proven ability to influence at senior levels across functions and geographies
• Strong ability to anticipate, identify, and mitigate risks
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, etc.) or Bachelor's degree in Finance
• Strong IFRS Accounting and Reporting understanding
• French language skills are an asset
