You will play a pivotal role in shaping the bank's regulatory landscape for Global Wholesale Banking. How you succeed
Adopt a proactive approach to compliance, stay ahead of regulatory changes and anticipate potential challenges. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and regulators is crucial, as is fostering a culture of compliance within the organisation.
What you do
  • Provide regulatory compliance advice to the Bank's Global Wholesale Banking Division. This includes regionalisation/cross-border initiatives/projects.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive the implementation of new regulatory requirements.
  • Review regulatory compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct compliance training sessions, upon request by Business.

Qualifications

Who you are
  • Possess a university degree
  • 5-8 years work experience with relevant experience in a regulatory advisory role within a bank or professional services firm.
  • Candidates familiar with S35 of the Banking Act, MAS Notice 632, 645, will be favourably considered
  • Motivated, responsible with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, independent and resourceful
  • Team player
