Morgan McKinley is recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a fast-paced, dynamic organisation with a strong presence in the UK and Ireland. This exciting role, which reports directly to the Chief Accountant (whom we successfully placed in the business last year). You will take ownership of the finance function, playing a pivotal role in driving growth, ensuring compliance, and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and support the long-term success of the business.
Responsibilities include managing the fixed asset register, overseeing cash flow for both the UK and Ireland, preparing VAT returns, and conducting balance sheet reconciliations across key areas such as inventory, taxation, and accruals. You will also be involved in group reporting, monthly forecasts, and providing detailed analysis of balance sheet movements. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in statutory audits, internal controls, and financial process improvements, while directly contributing to business growth.
This is a great chance for a first-time mover from practice to transition into industry. The role will enhance your experience in financial management across multiple regions, broaden your skill set in group reporting and VAT compliance, and provide exposure to high-level business decisions. If you're ready to take the next step in your career, apply today to join a thriving organisation with strong leadership and a clear vision for success.
