Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of global economic trends, with a focus on the U.S. economy and its impact on the stock market.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of U.S. macroeconomic indicators, monetary policy, and fiscal policy.
  • Provide regular reports and forecasts on the U.S. stock market performance, including sector analysis and investment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the news operation team to create insightful and engaging content that informs moomoo users.
  • Monitor and analyze financial news and data to identify emerging trends and risks.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in macroeconomic theory and practice.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in macroeconomic analysis, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex economic data and financial models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in using financial analysis tools and software, such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of U.S. stock market dynamics and investment strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Global mindset with an understanding of international economic and financial markets.
