Description of the Business Line or Department

Our Finance Division (DFIN) is in charge of steering the financial and budgetary strategy of the business, and its investment and development policy. We measure and analyse the profitability of the Group's business activities portfolio and use of resources. We certify accounts, ensuring the necessary level of support and expertise on the subjects of accounting standards, taxation, scarce resources and regulation. Summary of the key purposes of the role

Reporting to the SGIL Finance COO and working closely with Head of Accounting and CFO on the following tasks:
  • Provide support to the SGIL Finance COO, Head of Accounting and CFO in day-to-day management of the Finance department.
  • Coordinate delivery and timeline of projects, analysis, and support accounting tasks as required.
  • Act as a coordinator with other departments.
  • Support of the SGIL CFO to ensure Senior Manager Responsibilities are well documented.

Summary of responsibilities
  • Provide support to the SGIL Finance COO, CFO and Head of Accounting on the day-to-day DFIN operations.
  • Provide support on analysis on files and databases, perform controls where required on accounting framework for the department.
  • Perform adhoc analysis and checks over accounting and finance data for department.
  • Support of the SGIL CFO to ensure Senior Manager Responsibilities are well documented and documentation is kept up to date.
  • Finance Committee (FinCo) and SGIL Finance EXCO meetings - provide support to the SGIL COO including scheduling of meetings coordination of the agenda, deck and action points, drafting the minute of the meeting etc.
  • Assist team in co-ordination of data request from the auditors (external/internal) and managing uploading documentation.
  • Participating in projects to help the Finance department develop and progress.
