We're looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our client based in Wellingborough, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills and a keen interest in numbers to take the next step in their career. You'll be working on management accounts, reconciliations, and other key financial tasks, helping to keep everything running smoothly.

  • Produce, review, and analyse monthly management accounts.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Manage and maintain fixed asset registers.
  • Process purchase invoices and deal with any queries.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and variances.
  • Use Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) to create and improve reports.
  • Help improve and streamline financial processes.


What We're Looking For

  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
  • Experience producing and analysing management accounts.
  • A good understanding of bank reconciliations and fixed assets.
  • Someone who's detail-oriented and proactive when solving problems.
  • A team player who can also work independently when needed.
