Job Description
- You prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in compliance with Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS.
- You handle the preparation and review of tax declarations, including VAT reporting obligations.
- You oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including general ledger management, fixed assets, and accounts receivable/payable operations.
- You collaborate closely with the controlling department to contribute to financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
- You analyze financial variances to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Continuously refine internal control mechanisms and processes to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Ensure full compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- You provide support during both internal and external audits to ensure smooth execution.
The Successful Applicant
- You bring at least 4 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, ideally within a holding company or international organization.
- You possess strong communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.You demonstrate expertise in accounting and consolidation following Swiss GAAP FER and/or IFRS standards.
- You hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, or possess an equivalent professional qualification.
- You have hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- You exhibit excellent analytical capabilities and a detail-oriented, structured, and independent approach to work.
- You show effective teamwork and collaboration skills, along with the ability to perform accurately under time constraints.
