Support payroll operations for approximately 11,000 employees across Australia and New Zealand.
We are looking for a talented Payroll Consultant to work with both our on and offshore teams and partners, to deliver an accurate and efficient fortnightly payroll.
As part of a specialist team, you will create value for our clients by ensuring the effective and compliant delivery of payroll services, addressing escalated cases involving confidential or sensitive issues, payroll audits, process improvements and support for initiatives and projects as required, building strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
The successful candidate will feel comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a larger team, with the ability to troubleshoot and apply critical thinking to ensure a timely resolution on all payroll deliverables, including handling escalated queries professionally and with empathy.

- Leverage your end-to-end payroll experience to ensure accurate and timely fortnightly pay
- Collaborate with leaders, employees, and external partners to problem solve and coach

What you'll do
- Deliver accurate and compliant fortnightly payroll, ensuring all key milestones are met
- Identify and manage payroll risks and issues, escalating as needed while ensuring compliance
- Support audits, process improvements, and payroll-related initiatives and projects
- Provide technical advice on payroll, superannuation, tax queries, and escalations
- Drive operational improvements, including streamlining processes and identifying automation opportunities
What you'll bring
- 3-5 years of experience in complex payroll environments within mid to large organisations
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues
- Expertise in payroll operations, including Single Touch Payroll, taxation, and compliance
- Excellent communication skills to explain payroll concepts to non-specialists
- A proactive, self-driven attitude with strong organisational and time management skills
