Credit Controller / Northamptonshire

Role
As a key member of the finance team, the Credit Controller will take responsibility for managing the company's receivables, ensuring efficient collection of outstanding payments, and maintaining excellent relationships with customers.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing customer accounts and ensuring timely collection of payments.
  • Chasing overdue payments via phone, email, and written communication.
  • Reconciling customer accounts and resolving payment discrepancies.
  • Monitoring and reviewing credit limits, ensuring they align with company policies.
  • Producing regular aged debt reports and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.

Profile
  • Previous experience in a credit control or similar role is essential.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience with Sage and/or Keyloop is highly desirable.

Salary & Benefits
The Credit Controller role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, along with excellent benefits and opportunities for growth.
