Finance Business Partner

We are looking for a skilled Finance Business Partner to join a leading company in the healthcare and FMCG sectors in Tokyo. This role offers the chance to work internationally, closely working with business and marketing teams. You can also enjoy a flexible work arrangement with up to 50% remote work.

Responsibilities

• - Serve as the main contact for managing operational expenses in Japan's commercial operations.
• - Track Year-to-Date (YTD) and Year-to-Go (YTG) operational expenses.
• - Work with commercial teams, like Marketing, Performance Analytics, and Communication, to align forecasts.
• - Review and approve procurement requests.
• - Find cost-saving opportunities and collaborate with local leaders to implement them.
• - Participate in special projects and task-force initiatives.
• - Work closely with Regional and Zonal General Managers, the Zonal Head of Marketing, Supply Chain Business Partners, Accounting & Reporting Teams, and both internal and external auditors.

Qualifications

• - More than 8 years of experience as a Finance Business Partner.
• - Strong knowledge of accounting practices; CPA or CA preferred but not essential.
• - Excellent critical thinking and business partnering skills.
• - Strong communication skills and a team player who works well with others.
• - Fluent in English and Japanese, with the ability to draft legal documents in both languages preferred.
