Functie

• Ensure accurate monthly financial closing, including journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and supporting documentation.
• Oversee and review cash, bank, purchase, expense, sales, invoicing, and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making for branch managers and HQ.
• Ensure compliance with tax filings (CIT, VAT), statutory requirements, and internal control standards, supporting audits as needed.
• Review budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide financial guidance to branch managers.
• Approve payment runs and verify expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve accounting issues, support team projects, and assist with internal control and personnel needs.

Profiel
A successful Branch Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Spanish or Italian language.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
