- Manage the production of consolidated financial statements for the Group; apply applicable accounting standards and disclosure requirements in preparation of the statements;
- Handle Annual Account Closing including generating annual reports and press announcement;
- Participate in preparing tax computation and tax planning;
- Develop and maintain accounting policy & manual for adoption by the group;
- Ensure new banking products are properly accounted for in annual account disclosure;
- Provide support on financial management function to PRC subsidiary/branches; monitor and prepare regulatory reports to US branches e.g. FRY reports. As coordinator for parent bank issues;
- Responsible for monthly/quarterly financial reports required by holding companies and CITIC Group; maintain the infrastructure and provision of reports for parent bank's Group Reporting Pack in PRC GAAP;
- Analyze the requirements from CNCB on consolidated supervision aspects and undertake necessary responsive actions; maintain guidelines, manuals or procedures in connection to CNCB's consolidated supervision;
- Provide coaching and guidance to subordinates as required to ensure that they are competent to perform the jobs;
- Perform ad hoc projects and assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines or a qualified accountant;
- Minimum 7 years' experience in management and financial accounting in banking industry;
- Strong analytical skill and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, bank's accounting policies & procedures;
- Good communication skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels;
- Good computer skills; Proficiency in MS Office e.g. Excel & PowerPoint;
- Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
