Retail Distribution - Mortgage Relationship Management

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Direct Sales Manager.
Principal responsibilities
- Plan and direct mortgage sales activities to grow the Bank's mortgage business and other WPB products
- Generate sales leads from estate agencies, solicitor firms and property developers for primary and secondary property markets
- Assist District Lead to coach and guide team members to handle mortgage application documents and submit them for credit assessment based on the Bank's mortgage guidelines and policies
- Monitor sales process to ensure sales activities are compliant with the Bank's policies procedures
- Participate in the selling and promoting of mortgage loans products, as well as cross-selling other financial products and services to our customers through the Bank's distribution channels
- Keep abreast of latest development of the mortgage business and recommend corresponding business strategies as appropriate
- Manage operational risk and observe the relevant policies/ guideline
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in mortgage lending business with good contacts at property developers, estate agencies / mortgage brokers and solicitors' firms or related retail banking experience
- Strong service and sales orientation, with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to demonstrate competency as sales leader with strong sales and service orientation, good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to take challenges positively and willingness to work on weekends and public holidays, if required
- Passes in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations / HKSI Licensing Examinations preferred
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese; knowledge of Putonghua an advantage
- High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
