As a Portfolio Credit Analyst, you will oversee the credit risk of a diversified corporate-heavy portfolio, connecting individual transaction risk to broader economic, sectoral, and geopolitical trends. Working closely with local and regional teams, you will provide high-level analysis, contribute to strategic decisions, and ensure regulatory compliance in line with EU and ECB expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the credit quality, concentration risk, and ESG considerations of a diversified corporate-heavy portfolio, aligning with risk appetite and regulatory frameworks.
- Review and assess transactions approved by other departments from a strategic risk perspective, with the ability to veto if necessary.
- Advise on credit risk metrics, ensure adherence to EU/ECB regulations, and enhance risk policies and procedures.
- Link portfolio risks to broader economic, sectoral, and geopolitical trends, ensuring a forward-looking approach.
- Draft clear, insightful reports and presentations for local and regional governance committees.
Experience & Expertise:
- Solid background in corporate credit risk, with experience in portfolio monitoring.
- Familiarity with corporate banking products, including syndications, trade finance, and underwriting.
- Strong understanding of EU/ECB regulatory expectations and credit origination frameworks.
