Cobalt is currently supporting a property company in its search for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Finance team on a long-term contract.

This business is looking to hire a Senior Financial Accountant on an initial contract to lead the review of monthly, financial and regulatory reporting and consolidations.

Key responsibilities:

• Review consolidated financial statements under IFRS/ UK GAAP
• Review monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Review UK VAT returns
• Write quarterly Board Papers
• Review annual budget and business plan
• Internal and external stakeholder management
• Liaising with internal and external auditors

Requirements:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
• Property industry experience
• Organised individual
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Strong Excel skills
