Interim Financial Accountant

We are currently working with a well known business based in the South West that are looking for an interim financial accountant to join them for 9-12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP across multiple jurisdictions.
• Prepare and review technical accounting papers for senior management.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and manage external audits.
• Lead the implementation of new accounting standards.
• Provide technical advice on complex financial transactions.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to improve reporting processes.

Additional Info

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and consolidation.
• Minimum 5 year's experience in a technical or financial accounting role, ideally in a multinational or retail environment.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Based in the South West
• Hybrid working
