Deputy Corporate Controller - Global Alternative Investment Manager - Up to £65,000 + Bonus + Benefi

Profile Criteria:

1. Finalist or Newly-Qualified Accountant (up to 1-2 year's PQE) with a good foundation of accounting knowledge and experience (covering statutory accounts, management accounts, assisting with the annual audit, tax compliance, etc.)
2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
3. Either accounting experience gained from a small / medium sized chartered accountancy practice or within industry
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Duties and responsibilities:

• Accounts payable process oversight for the management companies
• Day to day management of the Accounts Payable person
• Management of the Accounts Payable automated process
• Oversight of employee expense reimbursement
• Management of cash and treasury
• Review of management accounting packs produced by external Big 4 firm
• Responsibility for VAT and other tax compliance / reporting. Assistance with corporate tax, and other tax reporting (in conjunction with the Head of Tax)
• Assistance in internal and external audit processes
• Assistance in regulatory reporting
• Oversight of the fund expense accounts payable
• Ad hoc projects
