A fantastic opportunity to join one of Europe's fastest growing Private Equity firms. This is the first FP&A hire in their business and they are seeking a highly credible, fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), ideally with some FP&A experience gained from the wider investment management sector. You will be highly commercial with excellent ability to build relationships with internal customers.

The Role
  • Maintain and develop financial models to simulate scenarios and assess the potential impact of strategic decisions on the company's financial performance
  • Being a highly competent sponsor and ultimately a "super user" of Anaplan, developing custom reporting and additional data analysis as required to fulfil business needs
  • Preparation of annual budget and periodic forecast reports for presentation to senior stakeholders and the Board
  • Cash flow forecasting to enable the company to meet future investment funding requirements and day-to-day working capital requirements
  • Maintenance of records, review of valuations, and quarterly reconciliations of firm's co-investments in the funds
  • Business partnering with budget holders; building relationships with department heads to better understand their reporting needs and provide relevant analysis to aid decision making
  • Ad-hoc project work, with a continual focus on process improvement and finding system solutions to drive efficiencies
  • Proactively building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues across all levels of the company

Requirements
  • You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with an excellent academic background
  • Experience gained from either Transaction Services and/or FP&A roles
  • Experience in the preparation of reports/papers for senior stakeholders
  • Proven track record of identifying issues and actioning process change
  • Advanced user of Excel with the ability to interrogate large complex models
