A fantastic opportunity to join one of Europe's fastest growing Private Equity firms. This is the first FP&A hire in their business and they are seeking a highly credible, fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), ideally with some FP&A experience gained from the wider investment management sector. You will be highly commercial with excellent ability to build relationships with internal customers.

- Maintain and develop financial models to simulate scenarios and assess the potential impact of strategic decisions on the company's financial performance
- Being a highly competent sponsor and ultimately a "super user" of Anaplan, developing custom reporting and additional data analysis as required to fulfil business needs
- Preparation of annual budget and periodic forecast reports for presentation to senior stakeholders and the Board
- Cash flow forecasting to enable the company to meet future investment funding requirements and day-to-day working capital requirements
- Maintenance of records, review of valuations, and quarterly reconciliations of firm's co-investments in the funds
- Business partnering with budget holders; building relationships with department heads to better understand their reporting needs and provide relevant analysis to aid decision making
- Ad-hoc project work, with a continual focus on process improvement and finding system solutions to drive efficiencies
- Proactively building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues across all levels of the company
Requirements
- You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with an excellent academic background
- Experience gained from either Transaction Services and/or FP&A roles
- Experience in the preparation of reports/papers for senior stakeholders
- Proven track record of identifying issues and actioning process change
- Advanced user of Excel with the ability to interrogate large complex models
