Our client, a leading global bank, is seeking a skilled Lead Project Manager to spearhead the delivery of their Capital Planning Book of Work in Krakow, Poland. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the bank's strategic goals while advancing your project management career in the financial services industry.

Position Overview

As the Lead Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the Capital Planning Book of Work. This critical role involves collaborating with stakeholders and delivery partners across IT, Treasury Capital Management, and the wider team to ensure successful project outcomes. Your expertise in project planning, resource management, and dependencies management will be key to driving the adoption of the Change Framework and agile methodology.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the project plan for the Capital Planning Book of Work
  • Coordinate resources, manage dependencies, and engage with stakeholders
  • Implement the Target Operating Model and business vision for the project
  • Drive project delivery while balancing scope, schedule, and risks
  • Establish effective project controls, procedures, and quality assurance processes
  • Report progress, issues, and risks to programme leadership and steering committees
  • Provide visible leadership to align the project with wider programme objectives
  • Monitor compliance with the bank's Change Framework and lead the team to meet performance targets
Requirements
  • Solid understanding of Change Delivery Lifecycles and Delivery Methodologies
  • Experience with process mappings and development of target operating models
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Agile Certifications, such as Leading SAFe (5.1) or equivalent, are advantageous
  • Exposure to Six Sigma (Black Belt or MBB certified) is a plus
  • Good understanding of Capital Planning processes and key regulatory capital metrics
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related subject or equivalent experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of managerial experience in change management, regulatory, and risk management
  • Financial services project management experience, ideally in Capital regulatory reporting or Planning/Forecasting
  • Experience in project delivery within Treasury/Finance in large financial institutions is ideal
