Fund Controller, Private Debt

Our client is one of Europe's leading Private Debt funds. They are looking to add another high calibre individual to their growing Finance function to help lead and manage a team of qualified fund accountants. You will be qualified yourself with a strong track record in fund accounting within the private debt or private equity sector.

The Role

• External Fund Accounting and Reporting - conducts thorough review of quarterly and annual reporting to Limited Partners, e.g. Financial statements and Partner statements.
• Fund Operations - review of Drawdown / Distribution calculations and notices and monitoring cash & liquidity.
• Internal Fund Accounting and Reporting - developing and improving internal reporting output.
• Creation and implementation of new procedures for new fund structures and functions.
• Quarterly reporting manuals for any new funds.
• Limited Partner Requests - monitoring and review of audit; regular and ad hoc requests.
• Training - developing the understanding of the Fund Accountants regarding the Fund structures, software and processes.

Requirements

• You must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant post-qualified experience within fund accounting
• Private Debt/Credit or Private Equity fund accounting experience
• Seeking someone with relevant experience working "in house" as opposed to someone currently within third party fund administration
• Have well developed and effective team management experience
• Be commercial and dynamic
