Job Description
- Evaluate suitable valuation methodology for innovative Northstar products covering:
- Policy and other data
- Assumptions
- Valuation methodology
- Report the EV financials with actuarial models and assumptions in accordance with Group Embedded Value Manual (GEM).
- Support forecast of financials for Business Planning, along with supporting analyses.
- Produce other group reports / data requests and liaise with group counterparts as required.
- Other special valuation projects by request.
Who we are looking for
Competencies & Personal Traits
- Good technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Reporting experience in Actuarial Valuation roles and management of KPIs such as NBP, operating experience variance and operating free surplus generation.
- Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively with the team to drive outcomes.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in Prophet ALS model, DCS and other data processing / programming language is an advantage.
Working Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
Professional Qualifications
- Good progress in actuarial examinations from a recognized professional actuarial body
Education
- Degree in Actuarial Science or related disciplines (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Finance etc.)
