Job Summary

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience in Desktop Support for a hybrid remote work model. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of desktop systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to the team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for desktop systems ensuring all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of desktop hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktop systems both remotely and on-site as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement solutions for desktop support challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Ensure all desktop systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and software updates.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of desktop support policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential issues before they impact users.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to help them effectively use desktop systems and software.
  • Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of desktop systems with other technologies.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of desktop system upgrades and migrations.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in desktop support and systems engineering.
  • Qualifications
  • Possess a strong understanding of desktop support principles and practices.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to desktop systems.
  • Have experience with remote desktop support tools and techniques.
  • Show excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
