Job Summary
We are seeking a Systems Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience in Desktop Support for a hybrid remote work model. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of desktop systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to the team.
ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for desktop systems ensuring all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of desktop hardware and software. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktop systems both remotely and on-site as needed. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement solutions for desktop support challenges. Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system. Ensure all desktop systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and software updates. Assist in the development and implementation of desktop support policies and procedures. Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential issues before they impact users. Provide training and support to end-users to help them effectively use desktop systems and software. Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements as needed. Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of desktop systems with other technologies. Participate in the planning and execution of desktop system upgrades and migrations. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in desktop support and systems engineering. Qualifications Possess a strong understanding of desktop support principles and practices. Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to desktop systems. Have experience with remote desktop support tools and techniques. Show excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Be able to work independently and as part of a team. Have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues. Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Certifications Required CompTIA A+ Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
