Sr Business Controller - Pharmaceutical Group - Brussels

About Our Client
Our client is an international group active in the Biopharma sector, with modern offices in Brussels. You will join a dynamic team with a positive atmosphere, and report directly to the Group CFO. As Senior Business Controller, you will be responsible for controlling and will also coach 2 Junior Controllers.

Job Description

• Coaching a team of 2 Junior Controllers
• Preparation of annual budget and 3-5 year plans
• Responsible for periodic rolling forecasts and variance analyses
• Preparation and presentation of a monthly Business Review to CFO and Board
• Performance monitoring via P&L tracking and specific reporting (KPI's, dashboards, etc.)
• Strategic advice to CFO and Heads of (Board-level), as a true Business Partner
• Assistance with external and internal audits

The Successful Applicant

• Master's level (Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent)
• Fluent in Dutch (minimum C1) with a high level of English (minimum C1), and French (minimum B2)
• At least 5 years' experience in a similar position: either Business Controller or BIG4
• Team Management experience is not mandatory, but an interest in coaching junior controllers is an asset
• Proactivity, excellent analytic skills and a critical mind are your 3 primary qualities
• You have the soul of a Business Partner and enjoy leaving your mark on a Finance department and supporting a Board in its strategic decisions
