JOB DESCRIPTION
Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future.\n\nThis role sits within 1 of the 2 platforms: (i) Fund Management and (ii) Investment. The Fund Management platform focuses on raising capital and forging stronger relationships with investors. The Investment platform aims to drive capital deployment decisions and horizontal integration to create value for our investors.\n\nTogether, we aim to create value and deliver sustainable returns for our investors through a range of products including listed REITs and business trusts and private funds which invests globally into Real_Estate, infrastructure, data centres and alternative asset classes.\n\nThe intern will be responsible in the following:\n• Conduct market research, including sector and economic trend monitoring, primarily for the healthcare Real_Estate sector in North America and in the UK/Europe.\n• Evaluate investment pipeline alongside the investment team from research and due diligence, prepare investment memo/presentation towards deal closing.\n• Support fundraising efforts including research, data gathering and pitchbook preparation.\n• Support asset management including helping to maintain a robust internal database of the invested platform for analysis, tracking and reporting.\n• Support the team lead on any ad-hoc projects and tasks.\n\nLearning Outcomes:\n• Gain insights into the investment process and strategies of a fund management organization with an alternative-focused mandate.\n• Develop quantitative and qualitative skill sets in evaluating investments focusing on the healthcare Real_Estate sector in North America, UK/Europe.\n• Understand key trends and investment drivers for the healthcare sectors or markets under coverage.\n• Develop effective presentation skills including preparation of presentation materials.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:\n• A penultimate or final year student with an Undergraduate or Master's Degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, Real_Estate or Accounting.\n• Have basic to intermediate skills in financial modelling, financial statement analysis and valuation and is proficient with Microsoft Excel knowledge and formulas.\n• Knowledge in using Bloomberg terminal/other data platform.\n• Interested to be involved in investments and fund management business.\n• Able to work independently and execute quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.\n• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.\n• Strong desire to learn with a high degree of motivation.\n• Have high level of personal integrity and is committed to deliver high quality of work.\n\n#LI-LG1
