Our client, a leading global banking and financial services organisation, is seeking a highly skilled Senior XVA Valuation Controller to join their team in Krakow, Poland. Position Overview

The Senior XVA Valuation Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Fair Value Adjustments (FVA), Independent Price Verification (IPV), and Prudent Valuation Adjustment (PVA) within the XVA business, while driving continuous improvement and collaborating with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure governance and controls of Fair Value are adhered to
  • Lead and participate in valuations methodology enhancements and alignment
  • Serve as key contact for XVA Trading and other stakeholders
  • Drive implementation of FVAs, IPV, and PVA changes
  • Engage with asset class valuation teams for consistency and efficiency
  • Promote continuous improvement and lead PC transformation initiatives
  • Maintain internal control standards and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with Global Markets FIM
Requirements
  • Graduate degree with 8+ years in Product Control or Valuations
  • Expertise in Credit, Interest Rate, and/or XVA products and controls
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for valuation
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Adaptive controls mindset and project leadership experience
  • Experience building stakeholder relationships at all levels
  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) is advantageous
