Director - Financial Reporting, Insurance

Our client, one of the largest life insurers, is currently seeking a team head to manage their accounting and finance activities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a finance team to handle the accounting tasks including but not limited to financial & management reporting and finance projects related to IFRS 17 and RBC
• Offer directions and assistance to the team and other relevant units to ensure adequacy and the compliance with statutory reporting requirements
• Maintain and review the financial information of the Company
• Review and elevate the current standard of the accounting system, process and deliveries to enhance business operations performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other related disciplines
• Qualified accountant with a minimum of 10 years' experience gained from insurance industry
• Knowledge of IFRS17/ IFRS9/RBC will be a big plus
• Solid experience in managing a team will be an advantage
• Fluency in English AND Chinese
• Sound leadership and people management skills
