Our client is a well-established and reputable commercial bank, offering a wide range of banking and financial services. They are seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare month-end consolidation and management reports, as well as interim and year-end financial disclosure notes, in compliance with applicable accounting standards, Banking Ordinance, Companies Ordinance, and other regulatory requirements.
Participate in property valuation matters to ensure accurate reporting of property-related assets.
Review and update accounting policies to align with relevant accounting and regulatory standards.
Liaise with external auditors to ensure efficient and timely audit processes.
Handle ad hoc assignments and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional qualifications such as HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.
At least 5 years of financial reporting experience within the banking sector.
Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial concepts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage.
(Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Accounting Manager.)
