Accounting Manager, Energy

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily General Ledger functions including cash management, accounts receivable/payable, storage, derivatives, clearing account reconciliations, and income/expense reconciliations.
- Analyze trade data meticulously to ensure alignment between internal systems and external documentation.
- Lead month-end close procedures across several legal entities while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare financial statements monthly/annually; support yearly audit processes by preparing essential work papers.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA is highly preferred).
- 7+ years of experience either from public or corporate accounting roles specifically within the energy/power sectors.
- Experience using any ETRM system (Experience with Endur is plus)
- Experience using Great Plains is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills for report generation alongside strong knowledge adhering strictly to GAAP principles.
