Job Summary Responsible in supporting the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives across Allianz Malaysia Berhad (AMB), Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (AGIC) and Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad (ALIM).

Job Summary Responsible in supporting the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives across Allianz Malaysia Berhad (AMB), Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (AGIC) and Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad (ALIM).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the COO in developing and implementing the overall strategy and planning of the Operations division across AMB, AGIC and ALIM.
- Driving the transformation agenda and programs from Allianz Group and Allianz Regional office to significantly shape the organisation's future direction.
- Plan and coordinate initiatives across Allianz entities for effective implementation.
- Provide oversight and coordination on operational performance management for internal, Regional and Group reporting.
- Ensuring compliance towards Operational Governance matters.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the COO.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Economics, Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the corporate strategy and planning, transformation and related-fields are required for this position.
- Good understanding in strategy planning preferably in insurance industry, similar experience in other industries is acceptable.
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work well under pressure to manage multi-tasking.
- Strong judgment, with the ability to make quick, yet sound decisions and follow through.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving environment, with a strong customer centricity and commitment to deliver.
- Critical thinker with ability to analyze and synthesize information.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (written and oral).
- A team player and able to manage the relevant stakeholders and ensure timely compilation of deliverables.
