Financial Controller

Interim Financial Controller - 6 months - £500-600/day umbrella

My client has had an urgent need for an Interim FC arise in their team. This will be a hands-on technical role where you will be responsible principally for ensuring that month end is disciplined as a cycle and that the general ledger is maintained. Reporting directly into the CFO, you will also be supervising a junior Group Accountant.

Role:

• Stat accounts prep and running year-end (which is in March)
• Tax oversight and liaising with tax specialists
• Stakeholder management and dealing with investors
• Working closely with the FP&A Analyst to ensure budgets are aligned

Your background:

• ACA/ACCA qualified - 4+ years post qual
• Experience in tech/SaaS or Financial Services ideal
• Technically strong - confident running both month and year-end to a high standard
• Self-starter, able to delegate where needed
