Senior Auditor with focus on Treasury and Capital Management (Hybrid: 80-100%)

About the Role

As a Senior Auditor with focus on Treasury and Capital Management in Group Internal Audit (GIA), you will have the opportunity to leverage your knowledge and experience around capital, capacity and cost management, asset and liability management, financial regulations, and reinsurance across the end-to-end value chain while participating in a variety of audit activities. You will engage with senior stakeholders and function heads on a regular basis across multiple lines of business.
This role is an opportunity to deal with themes that have organizational impact and drive the risk culture of Swiss Re.

Key Responsibilities
• Participate in a variety of audits, with a focus on Treasury and related functions, owning your audit tasks within the agile audit team, and positively impacting the audit delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior management and engage with various stakeholders across the business.
• Apply your expertise to contribute to the GIA audit plan.
• Coach other members of the audit team on asset and liability management topics.
• Challenge the audit teams to excel by acting as a role model.

About You

We are looking for an inspiring person who is curious, delivery-oriented, and a team-player , and is able to think creatively and critically and generate innovative idea s and can also communicate effectively and deliver in ambiguous situations .

You are passionate about innovation and transformation including data analytics.

Essentials
• 8+ years' experience in financial services, preferably in a Big4 with audit experience in the reinsurance or insurance secto r.
• Degree in accountancy, business, or finance-related fields.
• CPA, CA, or CIA professional certifications preferred.
• In-depth experience with auditing or advisory work in the area of treasury and capital management.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies, project management and continual risk assessment.
