Your role

We're looking for someone to help us with:

• reporting and analytics: preparation and distribution of frequent basis to the stakeholders involved in the settlement processes
• reconciliations: daily performance of nostro reconciliation, investigation of open positions, escalation to onshore partners and risk management
• risk management: operational risk analysis and preparation of weekly open item inventory for management, identification of reoccurring patterns to eliminate them
• other duties: Re-architecture of the processes/tools/matching patterns, Automation Initiatives, Reports preparation for internal and external audits

This roles requires the candidate to work on a rotational shift basis, covering US business hours.

Your team

Within Global Loans Services area, which teams supports businesses to underwrite, originate and syndicate Loans, Guarantees and Letters of Credit structures, there is the Reconciliation Team responsible for coordination and performance of nostro account reconciliations, preparation/distribution of reports for stakeholders, investigation of unmatched items and capturing and escalating operational risks related to GLS operations. The team works closely with functions across the world to ensure streamlined processing and efficient settlement of daily trade activity. The position requires attention to detail, analytical mindset and technical skills.

Your expertise

• a university degree in an analytical field like mathematics, accounting, finance or information technology
• fluent in English
• good understanding of the financial/banking sector
• experience 1-2 year in related reporting / Finance fields
• strong problem solving and excellent analytical skills
• strong focus on controls, procedures, quality, accuracy and detail oriented

Good to have:
• well versed in Macros, VBA and other analytics tools
• experience with Business Intelligence tools like Power BI or Alteryx

Personal Competencies:
• an excellent communicator
• self-motivated, confident, and committed to the company goals
• able to use MS-Office with advanced knowledge in Word, Excel and Power Point
• capable to function under stressful conditions
