Fund Accountant (Transfer Agency)

Some of the Key Responsibilities include:

• Oversee fund operations, with focus on Transfer agency operations, unit trust and ETF processes, including subscriptions/redemptions, valuations, pricing, and expense management.
• Manage fund reporting, expense processes, statutory reviews, and compliance with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
• Assist with fund launches, terminations, issue resolution, and queries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in projects, enhance processes, and ensure operational controls are in place.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Degree in accounting, business administration or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a fund accountant covering mutual funds, Unit trusts or Hedge funds.
• Experience in Transfer agency is essential along exposure to fund accounting/ administration in an asset manager or securities firm will be a plus
• Experience in Bloomberg, Excel/VBA, Python or coding/programming languages will be advantageous.

• Ability to multitask and work unsupervised in a team environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and influential skills to communicate with senior stakeholders to get the work done.
