The President of RAM is responsible to lead a team of financial advisors, wealth relationship managers and sales assistants, overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive wealth management strategies for high-net-worth clients, including investment portfolio management, estate planning, tax optimization, and risk management, while driving business growth and ensuring client satisfaction within regulatory compliance guidelines. Responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring advisors, managing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Collaborates with retail banking employees and partners with bank lending staff to uncover cross-selling opportunities and ensure a robust referral program. Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field (MBA or CFA is a plus). Proven experience in wealth management with a track record of leadership and achieving results. Strong knowledge of financial products, markets, and industry regulations. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Adept at strategic planning and business development. Proficiency in financial software and tools. Regulatory and compliance awareness in the financial industry.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Lead a team of financial advisors, and wealth relationship manager, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations for financial advisors and relationship managers to ensure the highest level of service to clients.
  • Foster a cooperative relationship with Retail Banking, and Commercial Lending employees to promote a strong referral program.
  • Provide training and resources to help retail banking employees identify wealth management opportunities and make quality referrals.
  • Develop strategies and processes to ensure a seamless experience for clients seeking both wealth management and lending solutions.
  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for the wealth management department that aligns with the overall goals of the organization.
  • Meet with clients to assess clients' financial situations, develop personalized investment strategies, and provide ongoing guidance to optimize their wealth. Regularly review portfolios and adapt strategies to address evolving needs.
  • Represent the Bank at networking and community events to build relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs), strengthen the Bank's presence, and generate new business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively present complex financial information to clients.
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory changes to drive the division's growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, addressing their financial needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Act as a point of contact for complex client inquiries or issues, working collaboratively with financial advisors to resolve them.
  • Ensure that all wealth management activities adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Implement risk management processes to mitigate potential financial and operational risks.

Experience/ Education required :
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field required. Master of Business Administration preferred. Series 7, 24, 63, 65 and Life & Health Insurance license required.
  • At least 15+ years of progressive experience in wealth management with a proven track record of sales success and the ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

Salary ranges: $200,000 - $275,000
