Our company is growing rapidly and is looking for a Securities Analyst who will also have portfolio management responsibilities. Laffer Tengler Investments is a dynamic and growing asset management firm, focused on managing assets for high-net-worth individuals, institutions, and platform advisors. This role will assist in large-cap equity analysis and documentation. There will be opportunities to learn proprietary valuation and fundamental analysis, and meaningfully contribution to a fast-growing active asset management organization. The position also involves meeting with clients. Responsibilities include:
- Update and maintain proprietary valuation models.
- Conduct primary company research employing LTI's proprietary 12 Fundamental Factors.
- Support Senior Portfolio Managers.
- Client facing support.
Minimum Qualifications:
- College degree mandatory; graduate degree preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of work experience in the investment management industry.
- Integrity and commitment to serving the team and our clients.
- CFA desired; commitment to receive CFA designation in four years.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to stay abreast of specific related knowledge and skills.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office suite and general hardware and software knowledge.
- Ability to perform multi-tasks under timeline pressure.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail - acurate, punctual and well organized.
