Role and Responsibilities
Fundraising Support
- Organize and maintain investor lists, marketing materials, and dataroom access for capital raising.
- Prepare pre-meeting briefings and tailored materials for client meetings to support fundraising.
- Coordinate with internal teams to address investor queries and due diligence requests, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant responses for all materials.
- Map LPs by region/sub-type as part of distribution initiatives.
- Assist in managing investors through the fundraising cycle—meetings, due diligence, commitment, and closing.
- Schedule and organize roadshows, ensuring logistics and materials are ready for client meetings.
- Maintain a global roadshow calendar and coordinate with project management on forward-looking schedules.
- Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements for roadshows and ad-hoc meetings with administrative support.
- Understand and comply with regional marketing regulations.
- Manage proactive relationship-building, flagging stale relationships, and pushing investors through the closing funnel.
Project Management
- Draft, update, and maintain fund marketing and due diligence materials, including Placement Memoranda, pitchbooks, and questionnaires.
- Collaborate with Legal, Tax, and Finance teams to guide investors through fundraising and investment processes.
- Work with PR to maintain target lists, track conferences, and inform teams of fundraising events.
- Research market trends, investor profiles, and competitor activity.
- Coordinate informal LP events, assist with conference logistics, and coordinate event participation.
- Help organize external AGMs, LPACs, and select conference
Tracking and Communication
- Drive investor pipeline progress by managing outreach campaigns and activating accounts.
- Track roadshow targets and meeting progress.
- Manage databases and ensure that all communications with limited partners is up-to-date in the internal LP Tracker, CRM database, Investor reporting portal, and any other systems/database as required.
- Monitor capital-raising progress, LP decline/feedback, conversion rates, and outreach stats.
- Draft introductory emails for the respective distribution individuals.
- Liaises and coordinates discussions on the development of strategies and fundraising targets.
Professional Experience and Skills
- At least two years of experience in investment banking, investor relations or finance-related field; infrastructure experience preferred but not essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills with a sound understanding of financial markets; able to interact effectively with business development contacts, prospects, consultants, and clients.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects in high-pressure environments.
- Can do attitude, proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently with strong research and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and CRM tools.
