Our client, a leading global banking and financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced Accounting Schematics Analyst to join their team in Krakow, Poland on a contract basis.

Position Overview

As an Accounting Schematics Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of the accounting data repository and collaborating with various stakeholders to implement changes and resolve key issues effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in working groups to understand project complexities
  • Analyse reporting impacts from a systems perspective
  • Ensure reliability of accounting data repository through analysis
  • Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams for change implementation
  • Take responsibility for resolving and communicating issues
  • Demonstrate high capacity to learn and take initiative
  • Influence and escalate key issues for timely resolution
Requirements
  • Senior financial services professional with strong technical skills
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • University degree in a finance-related discipline
  • Experience in Finance project implementation from an Accounting/reporting perspective
  • Experience designing and implementing dual reporting processes (IFRS and Local GAAP)
  • Banking, financial, and regulatory reporting experience
  • Understanding of GL systems
  • Very good English (Read, Write and Speak)
  • Intermediate French language skills (Read, Write and Speak)
  • Skilled in handling and controlling complex data sets (MS Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with people at all levels
  • Good planning and organisational skills; adaptable to change
