How will I help?
The Global Transaction Services (GTS) Finance Manager is a crucial partner to the GTS Line of Business (LOB) and an essential member of the GTS Finance team. This role supports various financial performance activities, providing key insights for decision-making across management reporting, forecasting, external reporting, financial control, governance, and risk management. The manager will aid a team of finance professionals, contributing to the GTS LOB's success in managing customer deposits and payment solutions, and ensuring efficient transactions for all Westpac Group customers. This position offers significant exposure to executing the GTS strategy and requires strong stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills.

Major responsibilities:
- Deliver robust timely financial information which assists the GTS business to meet their strategic and operational goals. This includes managing the ledger close cycle and management reporting deliverables.
- Play a pivotal role in the GTS quarterly Revenue Forecast and Annual Target setting process. Offer insights and identify opportunities that drive business success.
- Build a deep understanding of the GTS Business and its relevant data & systems landscape, to optimise the information and provide ongoing support to GTS Director and Senior Managers with ad-hoc analysis and requests.
- Maintain a strong control environment, resulting in accurate and reliable reporting.
- Supporting GTS Director and Senior Managers with large GTS Transformation Agenda by providing ad-hoc analysis.
- Partner with key business stakeholders to understand monthly financial results, perform issue resolution and provide insight to assist the business to meet their financial and operational goals.

What do I need?
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting
- CA/CPA qualification preferred (or in the process or obtaining qualification)
- Strong understanding of balance sheet and profit & loss drivers and performance metrics
- Builds effective relationships and has a demonstrated background in working with others to achieve outcomes
- Adaptive influencing and relationship building skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines
