Risk & Performance Analyst

This position primarily identifies, analyzes, reviews, and documents D&P’s portfolio, investment strategy, and firm-level risks, and assists D&P’s Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in presenting the investment risk profile of the firm to internal and external parties. Risk analysis is based on D&Ps fundamental investment approach. As the performance related (GIPS) SME, this person prepares and reports on the firm’s investment performance, conducts portfolio risk profiles for current and prospective clients, and undertakes ad hoc risk analyses as requested.

This position also reviews internal controls and other risk mitigating activities implemented to protect the firm and its clients and interacts with Virtus’ Risk staff and participates on D&P’s governance and oversight committees as needed. They will assist the risk team in assessing the likelihood and magnitude of harm within identified risks and performs analysis of the performance returns.
