Transfer Pricing at NERA

NERA's Global Transfer Pricing Practice offer a hands-on approach to transfer pricing to develop more rigorous, higher quality products, and to collaborate more effectively with our clients. They also design and defend intercompany pricing policies grounded in sound business strategy and well-established economic principles, utilizing market-based pricing techniques, benchmarking studies, and rigorous valuation methodologies. Our outcomes are transfer pricing solutions that meet business objectives, are defensible, and adhere to the arm's length requirements imposed by national tax authorities.

Responsibilities

You will work primarily within the Transfer Pricing, Valuation and Intellectual Property team in the London office and will have the opportunity to:
  • Apply the technical skills and knowledge gained during your graduate studies to conduct quantitative, statistical and valuation analyses across a wide variety of industries and contexts, such as advisory, litigation and International Arbitration.
  • To work primarily in the financial services and financing team dealing with transfer pricing, valuation, and other financing related issues.
  • Contribute to the preparation of economic and financial reports
  • Join a dynamic and inspiring team who work with the other European and US offices, on challenging topics
  • Attend client meetings.
  • Write research reports and prepare client presentations for senior staff and clients to help them make informed economic decisions
  • Collaborate with in-house experts and outside academics
  • Develop and strengthen both project and people management skills
  • Develop and deliver internal training sessions

You will need
  • To hold a BA/ BSc and a Master's or PhD in Finance and Economics, with a strong understanding of corporate finance, with exceptional academic records.
  • To be detail-oriented and able to think analytically and critically, and have excellent technical, oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving, creativity and analytical skills.
  • Relevant work experience in transfer pricing would beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required. A good knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and econometric software programming is considered favourably.
  • Business fluency in English is essential and knowledge of French would be useful.
