About the team

The Treasury function plays a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their funds in the right place at the right time. As a central function, we are at the heart of what makes Worldpay a success. We facilitate money movements, produce forecasts, manage bank relationships, currency exposures and manage the company cash in line with business goals.

What you'll own
  • To identify and raise issues that impact treasury in a timely manner and work across functions to resolve these issues and ensure (where necessary) new processes are implemented.
  • To be an 'advisor' to the business with regards treasury issues and impacts, being a key influencer within Group Finance and the larger business.
  • Develop and run training sessions that can be given to other operational areas to ensure there is an appreciation of the dependencies and impacts between various teams.
  • To be a key point of contact between the company and our transaction banks, ensuring issues regarding merchant settlements are resolved in a timely manner and that lessons are learned, and changes implemented to reduce issues going forwards.
  • Ensure that all operating businesses have the appropriate banking facilities, working with senior Treasury leaders to implement these.
  • Manage and monitor these facilities to ensure they remain fit for purpose.
  • Help implement and monitor company treasury procedures to ensure compliance within the regulations.
  • Be an expert on PSRs from a treasury perspective, working with Regulatory to ensure they are implemented appropriately as the business expands and develops.
  • Understand the MAS and regulatory framework in Singapore, including producing liquidity reporting.
  • Provide answers and local understanding for the regulator, acting as treasury contact in the region.
  • Represent Treasury in Singapore entity board meetings.
  • Work with the Global Treasury team to ensure issues are resolved and do not impact other areas of operations.
  • Act as the operational treasury expert on projects where Treasury is impacted.
  • Organise and structure the team in the most efficient way possible.
  • Administration of the Treasury Management System
  • Administer banking systems.
  • KRI's KPI's and MI on account balances and cash performance on a weekly basis

Ad hoc activities, for example cash management initiatives such a cross-currency pooling, ad hoc reporting, in-house bank readiness and work with other treasury leads to deliver strategic initiatives. Travel around the region may be required.

What you bring

  • A deep understanding of operational finance and operational treasury in a Payment Service Provider
  • Good knowledge of the payment settlement cycle
  • Excellent Knowledge of online banking systems
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Cash Management Experience within a multinational company
  • Two years treasury experience in a multi national corporate and preferably in a payment service provider
  • Good knowledge of PSRs from a treasury perspective
  • Knowledge of APAC regulatory frameworks
  • Good knowledge of Treasury management systems and their usages
