Business Function
Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions - whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services
Responsibilities
• Financial reporting, planning and analysis for Private Banking business, including P&L and B/S (of overall business and at product level) as well as client metrics (such as NNM, AUM, Yield on AUM and RM productivity)
• Coordinate with Regional Business Finance and Group FP&A on monthly submission of actuals, flash/forecast and budget and variance analysis
• Partner with business to steer discussions at HK and regional level and drive business growth
• Deliver insightful analysis on financial and non-financial performance by leveraging digital tools and BU/SU inputs
• Advise business on revenue recognition, expense booking and other relevant accounting matters
• Streamline and refine existing processes on actual, flash/forecast and budget
• Support new projects and initiatives as required
Requirements
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or other closely related field with 8-10 years professional work experience in financial planning and analysis, performance management, research and/or consulting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in stakeholders' management
• Knowledge of Hyperion and PSGL, excellent Excel, PowerPoint skill
• Prior exposure to budgeting processes, Funds Transfer Pricing and wealth management products
• Strong attention to detail with excellent judgement, analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to handle stress and deliver quality analysis within tight timelines
• Prior experience in supporting private banking business preferred
• Experience with visualization software (Qlikview, Tableau, Think-Cell or equivalent) preferred
• Strong data mining, database management and programming skills preferred
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
