Position Description

The role will be responsible for deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio management, working closely with various regional funds. Your focus will be on the Healthcare/ Modern Services/ AI-Tech sector.

This position is full time and based in Hong Kong is required. Interested candidate please submit your English and Chinese resumes for review and consideration.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Deal Sourcing and Execution:
  • Source, map, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities within the Healthcare field.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments.
  • Formulate deal structures and negotiate legal documentation with investment targets.
  • Prepare comprehensive investment memos in both Chinese and English.

Portfolio Management:
  • Regularly manage the post-investment portfolio, providing value-add whenever possible.
  • Generate quarterly valuations and portfolio reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to complete daily fund management tasks.

Financial Analysis and Modeling:
  • Build full 3-statement financial models with scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support investment decision-making.

Fundraising and Support:
  • Assist management with fundraising activities.
  • Support other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements
  • Post-graduated in Medical, Biology, Chemistry or Financial majors are highly preferred but not essential. MBA or PhD designation is a plus.
  • At least 8+ years of consistent experience in related fields with a proven tracking record in related markets
  • Strong understanding of the designated sector and experience in evaluating investment opportunities within those industries.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and modelling, with the ability to build comprehensive 3-statement financial models.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise investment memos. Ability to speak Japanese/ Korean would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Team-player and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good work ethic with ability to work effectively and under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
