About Our Client

Job Description

Contribute to day-to-day accounting and transactions linked to EC Projects, ensuring compliance with Belgian and company accounting principles
Contribute to preparation of closing of accounts (including monthly & annual fiscal obligation)
Prepare and compile the Periodic Financial Statements
Keep track of actual costs versus budgeted costs related to EC Projects and corporate activities
Ensure the follow-up of administrative and legal requirements of suppliers, corporate and EC contracts
Provide a back-up for other tasks of the department.

The Successful Applicant

1-3 years of experience as an Accountant
English is mandatory + French is preferable, speaking Dutch is an asset.
Open mindedness and bilateral communication skill to co-work with related parties smoothly is very important
Flexibility and working as a team-player
Proactive approach
Numerical and analytical skills
Knowledge of Belgian GAAP and basic knowledge of VAT
Basic IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
Accounting Systems skill
Looking forward to work within an international environment
