Job Summary
• The role holder is responsible for contributing to generating new fund sales from the UK Advisory Sales Channels predominantly by dealing direct with Advisors but also by supporting Wealth's own activities as required. The role will help develop and implement the distribution strategy and tactics for the UK Advisory market working with the other members of the CLAM Advisory Sales team
• This role is outward facing and is essential as part of delivering the correct customer experience
What You'll Do
• To contribute to driving new business flows and achieving the UK Advisory sales targets by identifying and developing new opportunities with new targeted advisor firms and also developing relationships with existing key advisory firms.
• The role will require a minimum number of client meetings per month, full client follow up, weekly and monthly management reporting requirements, together with responsibility for maintaining accurate and timely reporting of all client activity on salesforce
• Execute the sales plan agreed with the Head of Strategic Alliiances
• Building commercial productive relationships with UK advisory businesses in line with the business values of the firm. This will include: prioritisation of target accounts, research and due diligence on accounts, development of sales plans, organising sales activity fully utilising financial clarity and salesforce applications.
• Contribute to sales planning with marketing, product solutions and asset management functions. This involves the development of relationships with fund managers and support staff, and the provision of intelligence on market and client knowledge to support and develop business strategy.
• Assist where needed CLAM's Advisory Teams support to Wealth including activity with their key accounts
Who You Are
• Detailed knowledge of the UK Advisory Market and be able to demonstrate relevant experience gained across this channel.
• Experience of selling multi-asset solutions and desirable to also have single strategy funds experience.
• A sound knowledge of the main investment asset classes
• A demonstrable track record of success ( preferably a minimum of three years )
• Strong communication skills at all levels
• Strong presentation skills
• Effective team player
• Strategic thinker and planner
• High level of gravitas, senior client connectivity and experience
• A strategic solutions driven mind set
• To be PC literate, in particular in relation to being able to build presentations in PowerPoint and an ability to build and maintain excel spread sheets.
Qualifications
• Investment-related qualifications (Investment Management Certificate, CFA ESG etc) desirable
• Degree in finance, business, economics preferred
