How will I help?

We deliver a superior customer experience by being Trusted Partners, executing on transformation programs and delivery for the Risk Division.

As Fast Enablers, we collaborate with a broad network of stakeholders to make Westpac the preferred bank and lifelong partner for our customers. We cultivate key trusted relationships and drive innovative solutions.

We ensure the sustainability of our business through fostering a positive risk culture. By balancing risks and opportunities and collaborating with stakeholders, we design and deliver optimal outcomes.

Immerse yourself in a 12-month program designed to provide experiences and insights to inform your Risk Transformation career. You'll experience a learning journey across a range of impactful projects which are fully supported with learning pathways and on-the-job training to elevate your transformation skills and capabilities. We have multiple role types available.
  • Project Manager;
  • Business Analyst;
  • Project Management Office; or
  • Change Management;

The program will provide in-depth working experience with a specific transformation team, as well as further exposure to the diverse teams making up Risk Transformation to develop the skills and knowledge essential for a rewarding career. You will be provided with an experienced mentor for the duration of the program.

What do I need?
  • One year of transferrable experience from the finance, accounting, education or property industries, with exposure to financial concepts, service delivery or data analysis
  • Experience working in a face-paced team environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a curious and inquisitive nature
  • A willingness to understand the interconnected nature of our systems, processes, and people, while identifying and linking risks and opportunities
  • A passion for learning and interest in developing knowledge in transformation and financial services
