A top ranked international bank is urgently looking for a Relationship Manager (FI) for their Sydney branch.Your new companyJoin an international bank within Australia which gives you the opportunity to interact with multiple departments, large clients and many industry leaders. You will work as part of the Financial Institution team, be part of a highly experienced team and department offering training and progression opportunities.

Your new roleWorking as a Relationship Manager, you will:
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and oversee relationships with both banks and non-bank financial institutions to achieve revenue targets at both individual and departmental levels.
  • Asset and Liability Development: Support branch efforts in creating high-quality assets and liabilities. Identify growth opportunities across different geographic regions.
  • Pricing Strategies: Contribute to the formulation of distinct pricing strategies tailored to various FI clients.
  • Agreements and Credit Lines: Establish agreements with other banks and NBFI for potential business. Set up credit lines.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on existing FI clients and introduce new relationships. Provide recommendations for various FI arrangements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the treasury team and other relevant departments to initiate new business ventures.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience Requirement: Extensive years of relevant experience in a similar position within an Australia-based financial institution is mandatory.
  • Product and Market Understanding: Candidates should possess a strong understanding of treasury and FI products, as well as awareness of regional and international market dynamics.
  • Proactive Client Engagement: Proactively initiate client meetings when appropriate and diligently follow up on business opportunities and client enquiries related to relevant product areas.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Industry Best Practices: Demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong planning and organisational abilities.
  • Collaboration and Adaptability: Effective teamwork skills and adaptability to diverse cultures.
  • Educational Qualification: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, economics, finance, law, or a relevant discipline.
