Mid-Senior Swiss Associate

A leading global law firm in the aerospace, commodities, construction, energy, insurance, and shipping sectors is seeking a mid-level to senior Swiss qualified Associate (3 to 6 years post-qualification experience) for its growing Swiss desk in Geneva.

The Role

In this role, you will work directly with Associates, Partners, and clients across a range of jurisdictions on interesting and often complex matters involving many international aspects, including Swiss corporate and commercial law, and disputes work.

We are seeking candidates who:

-Are admitted as lawyers in Switzerland
-Have three to six years' experience in Swiss corporate and commercial law, and disputes (including litigation and arbitration) work
-Have excellent English and French communication and drafting skills
-Have a genuine interest in matters of Swiss law in an international context
-Demonstrate a keen interest in international commodities trading and shipping, and the applicable laws
-Are willing to think out of the box to find and implement innovative structures
-Are willing to learn new skills and strive to be the best lawyer they can be
-Are efficient and can demonstrate excellent time management
-Are willing to understand the client's business to best meet its needs
-Understand that providing outstanding client service is paramount
-Can maintain strong internal and external relationships
-Have a can-do attitude, are able to take initiative, and work independently as well as part of a team
